Dotty Dot Dot Designs and Lots of Tutorials

Today's featured blog design source is Dotty Dot Dot Designs. This site is fabulous not only for its great assortment of free cute backgrounds (many in both two and three column variations), but also for its free matching headers and its tutorials about how to install stuff, including details about three column blogs. Additionally, Dotty Dot Dot Designs offers a variety of blinkies, for all you blinkie fans, including an Award blinkie you can grab for your site (and that, my friends is how I got my first blog award). I first discovered Dotty Dot Dot through its sister sites that specializes in relgious-themed backgrounds; you can reach that site through the main site:

Commentary:
This is the first free background site I found when I discovered blogging. Not only are their backgrounds cool, but they also had very clear instructions on how to install them using Gadgets on Blogger. They are the ones who got me hooked on blog design; I started making extra blogs just so I could try out their designs! In addition to their backgrounds, they also offer free matching banners and blinkies for many designs. TCBOTB also offers custom design and blog-to-book publication. My absolute favorite thing about them, besides their designs? Their wealth of blogging secrets. Check them out for all sorts of goodies like removing the lines between your sidebar items, adding signatures to your posts, centering sidebar gadgets, and creating your own backgrounds, just to name a few. Thank you, TCBOTB!
